Richardson, Texas, May 11, 2011 – KBM Group, the global leader in knowledge-based marketing solutions, has hired Edward O’Meara as Senior Vice President, Group Account Director.
O’Meara’s rich background in telecommunications, emerging technologies, and data and analytics, as well as his entrepreneurial and agency experience, will enable him to contribute to a variety of strategically important KBM Group initiatives in addition to his management responsibilities, including developing existing and new mobile technology business, leveraging the customer-insight work of the Advanced Analytical Services group, and acting as a liaison to leading universities to develop additional cutting-edge analytical approaches.

Prior to joining KBM Group, O’Meara co-founded MediaHound Development, a data and analytics software company that automates and delivers integrated marketing competitive intelligence and metrics. Other previous positions include directing global marketing for GSM Association, a global trade association; leading the BellSouth account at Grey Worldwide; and leading brand marketing at JDA Software Group.
O’Meara also advises Boards of Screen5ive Media, University of Georgia’s New Media Institute, and GeoMe Media in Barcelona, Spain on various technology initiatives.
After acquiring agency services provider, Marketing Direct, KBM Group launched its new KBM Group: Health Services division to help companies across the healthcare ecosystem improve their competitive position, accelerate growth and sustain profitability.
